Gareth Lewis secured victory in Tinwald Cycling Club’s, Jims Test and Tag, 46km handicap event on the lowlands of Mt Somers on Sunday.
Lewis made a bold effort on the run home, breaking free of his bunch and finding the front with the finish line in sight to take the hard earned win.
Nigel Chatterton produce a tough ride to secure the second place spoils.
Don Morrison led in a three up bunch sprint to claim the final podium spot.
Matt Marshal, Brian Ellis, and Doreen Lembke filled the top half dozen placings.
Hamish McDonald build on last weeks good effort to claim fastest time honours, riding the distance in 65.38.
Tony Ward and Larry Neal took second and third time respectively.
The juniors and division 2 contested a 16km handicap event.
Cooper Spillane had a great battle with his co-markers, getting home the strongest to take the win.
Penny Marriott having her first hit out for the season produced a top ride to take second place.
Isabel Wall continued her good form with a well-earned third place.
Fourth placegetter Conner Toomey claimed fastest time, riding the course in 29.22.
Zoe Spillane and Lucy Reeve rounded out the top six.
Merv Grewar secured bragging rides with victory in division 2.
